There are 10 different game cities in Payback 2. In these articles I will write about what I think about each of these cities and give a description of each of them and I will quote the description the owners of the game have put in the game. The last three cities Freedom City, Los Francos City and Corona City are much newer to the game. These three cities were added to Payback 2 on the 16 December 2014, the rest of the cities have been in the game since it started. Please click on the links to get a much more relevant detailed amount of information about that city individually.
Below is the list of city
The Big Freeze
The Big Freeze is a fun city. The Big Freeze has lots of water as in Rivers and big bodies of water. It has a great race track. The Big Freeze also has a helicopter with a shotgun pickup nearby. This city looks amazing at night all lit up and snow covering the ground all around. This is a great map for races, sprints, knockouts kingpin and Capture the swag. The Big Freeze is the first map/city unlocked when you download the game, initially available, free of charge. The game describe the city as "This snow covered city looks fantastic at night." This city is indeed fantastic anyways.
The map was originally created by Mila Lesak in 2001 and named House Park 2.
Allegro City
Allegro City is an awesome city. Allegro City has a river running straight through the middle. This city has a lot of buildings, mainly brown buildings. The weapons are in big groups. There aren't many weapons, but where there are weapons there are a lot of them. It has a great race track, Allegro City is my favorite city for races. Allegro City also has a tank, and a couple of Vapor GT's. The makers of the game describe the city as "A river divides east and west in this sunny city." Allegro City has a tank, it has 3 Vapour GT's, 1 Tank and 2 Boats the most of any city, It has a 1 river and 2 bridges, and is a fun city for practicing burnouts and J-turns. It is also a very well lit up city and it is never night time. So overall Allegro city is absolutely awesome.
The map was originally created by Krzysztof "AmigaMAN" Koplin in 2002.
Destra City
Destra City is a rather dark but fun city, It is one of the three darkerst cities in Payback 2. Destra City has a helipad but no helicopter. It does have a tank in the center of the city. This City has many weapons mainly to the east of the city. The weapons are in massive groups mostly on the roofs of the Easter buildings. In this city there is no water. In This city there is 2 Rocket Cars, 2 Pug Racers, 2 Vapour GT and 1 Tank. The main highways around the outside of the city almost make a full circuit. This is great city for all of the events. You can try collecting all of the weapons and see how many you have at the end. This in the 3rd city to unlock on the list. The makers of the game describe the city as "Plenty to explore on these streets."
Metropolis
Metropolis it a great city if you want to race around a circuit, the thing I enjoy most about Metropolis is the big circuit around the main city, only four corner's. This circuit has big long straights where you can get your bus up to very fast speeds, Be careful you don't go sliding off the edge of the road into the sea or the SW corner where cars drown themselfs. This city is dusk at the moment, where it has some light but it is not the brightest city. Metropolis has the weapons spread out better than some cities. The makers of the game describe this city as "A sprawling neon-lit cityscape at dawn."
D-Town
D-Town is one of the many cities in the game. The weapons are evenly spread around the map. D-Town has a Helicopter and a Tank. There are three very long road straights, Which stretch from one side of the world to the other. D-Town is the most complex cities as there are small roads and side streets and lots of different routes to get places. There isn't much water on the map, there are a couple of small rivers though. It is fun to just cruise around the city. The owners of the game describe D-Town as "Dusk falls on the winter city." The helipad is usually can't be accessed unless you respawn in the helipad.
Urban Shore
Urban Shore is another very dark city just like Destra City. It has long rivers and has lots of pools of water. It doesn't have many weapons though. Urban Shore is light up with street lights. It is fun to drive around and go really fast. This map has no tank or helicopter. This map is described by the makers of Payback 2 as "Canals criss-cross this nocturnal town." Although there is a boat on this map, it is virtually useless as the bridges are too low to allow it passage.
House Park
House Park is a small town with a cool racing circuit. As you can see in the photo there isn't actually to much land, but it is nice to have a small map. There are two seas of water. House Park has an 1 RC Truck, Limo, Portia, Helicopter and 2 Boats . House park doesn't have many weapons at all. If you are near the helicopter in a game of Capture the Swag you should win. This map is awesome for brawls, gang warfare's, Sprints and races. The game makers describe this map as "A small town with its very own racing circuit."
2 Automatic Bombs
19 Rockets
18 Mini gun
4 Grenades
16 Flamethrower
13 Shotguns
So in total you would have 2 Automatic bombs, 76 Rockets, 1800 mini gun, 24 Grenades, 1200 flamethrower and 260 Shotgun.
The map was originally created in 2002 by Mila Lesak, who also made two more versions of House Park, one of which later became The Big Freeze
Freedom City
Freedom City is a city in Payback 2. The first story mode mission takes place here. Like in any other city, you can find different weapons around. This map is great for Race İn Trucking Hell and Banger Racing, Kingpin İn On The Double!, Conquest İn Own The Streets and Sprint İn Neapolitan. This map is one of the three maps that were recently added to Payback 2. This map has many grey and brown buildings. The game describes Freedom City as "A sun-soaked gangster's paradise."
Los Francos City
“Looks like hell really has frozen over“
Los Francos City is one of the several snow maps in Payback 2. It has difficult roads, many being icy and therefore slippery. The city has an almost castle-like shap. The central area is on a hill and surrounded by a frozen river. The centrap island is connected to the rest of the city by two bridges, connected by a single road. The hilly central area is a difficult but entertaining area for races. The town has a single Helicopter.
Corona City
Corona City is probably the darkest City out of all of them. It has hundreds of street lights all through the city. This city has a well lit up highway which is in length, the longest straight in the city. Corona city is the third out of three cities that were recently added to Payback 2 in a recent update. This cityhas one main Highway. Corona City has the main city, and a small prison which is located in a island at the top left corner. The prison Island has a Helicopter on it. Corona City has a small race track. This map has A big lake of water separating the main city from the prison island. Corona City has a Rocket car in the bottom right corner. The game describes Corona City: "Famous for its island prison. From which no-one has ever escaped." This city is the only City with the Boat on location. Ironically, a skilled player can easily break out during story mode "Caught by the Fuzz" and ''Born Slippy''
