Campaign
The Campaign is a bit like the story mode, you are given events that in order to get 3 stars on the event you have to win. There are 8 chapters of episodes, Each chapter contains 8 missions, so all up you have 64 missions plus 1 mission called epilogue, So in total you have 65 missions which if you get 3 stars on each of them (which I have) you will have a total of 195 stars. When you start the missions, or first download payback 2 there is only the first chapter unlocked. When you have got a certain amount of stars for that chapter the next chapter is unlocked. You do not have to get 3 stars on all missions to unlock the next chapter, you only need a certain amount. Campaign is a great way to get the hang of Payback 2. If you complete the campaign first you will be definitely ready to play multiplayer (not to say that you cant start payback 2 on multiplayer), its just easier to start this way.
This is a list of all the events under Story Mode. There are 9 categories that all the events are under. The 9 categories are called (in order as of Payback 2). Crook, Thief, Hit Man, Goodfella, Yakuza, Godfather, Convict, Fugitive, and Epilogue. Please click on the links to find out more about each of the campaign episodes. Epilogue's requirement essentially mean that you will have to get 3 stars on all previous missions before it's unlocked.
